Student Awards

Academic Awards are given to all of our students who achieve Honours and Honourable Mention Students.

The Following Major Awards are Given to our Grade 9 Students at the end of each yaer:

Terri-Lynn Ryan Memorial Award - Student who has demonstrated exemplary courage in mastering personal challenges

Punch Dickins Award - In recognition of outstanding service to the school community

Nazeem Kasim Memorial Award - To the student in recognition of noteworthy improvement in scholastics, outstanding citizenship and service to the school community.

Jeff Dartnell Scholarship Award - To the student who demonstrates noteworthy improvement in scholastics, relationships with others, contributions to the school community and the larger community. (Rotary club rep will also make a presentation).

Faculty Trophy - Student who displays an exemplary relationship with peers and staff, a high standard of service and leadership in fostering school spirit, above average academic standing and active participation in the athletic program at the school.

Outstanding Male Athlete of the Year - This award is given to a male student who exemplifies excellent athleticism, leadership, teamwork, and an excellent student. 

Outstanding Female Athlete of the Year - This award is given to a female student who exemplifies excellent athleticism, leadership, teamwork, and an excellent student.
